Nicole Richie Admits She Was Too Skinny and That She is Healthier Now

     is showing off her curves, as pregnancy appears to be driving Paris Hilton’s notoriously rebellious friend into a tamer lifestyle.

The 26-year-old weighed a mere 39 kilograms last December when she was arrested for drink driving, The Daily Mail has reported.

But holidaying with rocker boyfriend in Hawaii this week, the mother-to-be appeared to be sticking to her pregnancy diet, with less than four months until the baby is due.

Richie, the socialite daughter of singer Lionel Richie has admitted that her formerly waif-like figure was “too skinny” and claimed to be eating much healthier now that she has a responsibility to her unborn child.

“I eat all the time, especially now. I’m constantly hungry; I’m eating at least every hour.” She said during an interview with Good Morning America last month.

To add to her miraculous transformation from the party girl who was sentenced to jail for drugs and driving-related offences, rumours are also circulating that the parents-to-be are engaged.

But Richie’s heavily tattooed boyfriend Joel Madden is not giving away much.

“Obviously, marriage is in our future,” the rocker told American radio show host Ryan Seacrest last week.

“I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby. That’s all we’ve been thinking about,” he said.
