Nicole Richie sparked jealousy in millions of women when she stepped out less than a month after having her second child in hot-pant romper shorts and a silky tank top, plus heels. How does she do it? We’re quietly amazed, but still scheming up ways to look this good even though we didn’t have babies. Life, in case you haven’t heard, is NOT fair.

*Nothing. Yeah, it’s true. Even though she was chubby long ago, she’s been skinny for quite some time–and perhaps that’s just how she was supposed to be. Since that’s not duplicable, let’s go to the next, shall we?

*Yoga. Her legs are looking lithe and lean, with a ton of muscle definition. There’s a good chance that this hot mom is stretching and walking, plus eating an awesome diet, to look this good.

*Stylist Smarts. Her legs are the showcase here, but I do believe she still has that post-pregnancy poofiness in the stomach area. She’s normal, but that silky shirt is disguising everythin from us.

*The Wonders of B-Feeding. Who knows? Women always say that breast feeding makes them drop pounds faster. If this is the case, it’s a miracle–I can’t wait until I’m pregnant!

Nicole seems to have dropped her baby weight overnight.

She stepped out with her little sister, with Joel Madden in tow, to see Selena Gomez’s first show on Saturday.

Even though she gave birth to baby Sparrow about two weeks ago, she looks seriously svelte in a black silk romper and sky-high heels.

Although it was a girlie outing for Nic and her little sister, Joel seems to be a Selena fan, too…

“Hey @selenagomez Great 1st show!” he tweeted after the concert. “You did great. You should have seen my first show, kept my back to the crowd. You killed it!”

Envy Envy Envy! In an exclusive interview with NOW MAGAZINE – UK, actress Katherine Heigl claims she wanted to be like Nicole Richie.

Katherine Heigl would love to be superslim but doesn’t believe in starving herself in the name of fashion.

‘I hate dieting,’ she says. ‘I hate the whole thing!

‘My own insecurity makes me wnat to look like Nicole Richie. But I’m 5ft 9ins, and have substantial breasts, hips and everything else, so it’s never going to happen.’

Katherine, 30, takes her position as a celebrity role model very seriously.

‘What stops me is that I want young girls to look at me and think: “That’s healthy, that’s what I want – she’s on television and she looks like me,”‘ says the Grey’s Anatomy star.

‘I eat a lot. Food is, kind of, an obsession of mine.’

She gave birth to her second child just two weeks ago, but Nicole Richie has already snapped back into shape.

The socialite and reality star made it look like her nine months of carrying baby Sparrow, a boy, was all a dream.

Nicole, 28, and boyfriend Joel Madden were at The Roxy in West Hollywood on Friday to watch a Selena Gomez concert with her 11-year-old sister, Sofia.

Joel tweeted directly to Selena, actress-turned-singer best known for her role in Wizards of Waverly Place: ‘Great 1st show! You did great. You should have seen my first show, kept my back to the crowd. You killed it!’

Meanwhile Katherine Heigl would probably like to know how Nicole is so slender after giving birth so recently.

The 30-year-old said she would love to be superslim but doesn’t believe in starving herself.

‘I hate dieting,’ the Grey’s Anatomy star said. ‘My own insecurity makes me wnat to look like Nicole Richie.

Lionel Richie has “no idea” why his grandson is called Sparrow.

The legendary musician, whose daughter Nicole gave birth to her son last week, is waiting to discuss the unusual name choice with his offspring.

He said: “I have no idea where that came from. I will ask her, it is very interesting. With the excitement of the baby, you don’t go into the name just yet.

“When I heard it, I thought it was my job just to go ‘absolutely’ I will ask about Sparrow and she will have a story.”

Despite reserving  judgment on the new addition’s moniker, Lionel is thrilled with the news of the birth.

He is especially pleased with the way her daugther – who also has 20-month-old daughter Harlow with partner Joel Madden – has turned her life around.

Before meeting Joel, She was caught with heroin, and in 2006, she was sentenced to time in jail for driving under the influence (DUI).

Lionel told FOX News: “One thing I love about my daughter is when she makes her mind up to do something, it’s done. When Joel came along she found that one person, that partner that she needed to get her into that mode of taking care of herself and paying attention to her lifestyle.

“And then of course when Mouse number one and Mouse number two came along that was it, and I can tell you right now she is a different person.”

Nicole Richie just tuned 28 years old this last September 21st.

A little over a week ago, Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby boy named Sparrow, and just yesterday (September 18) stepped out in Los Angeles, CA.

The mama of two and her hubby Joel Madden were out and about sipping coffee as they tried to stay inconspicuous. One week after welcoming son Sparrow, Nicole Richie is back to her svelte self.

Wearing a flowy maxi dress, the mother of two, 27, debuted her post-baby body Wednesday while running errands in Los Angeles with daughter Harlow, 20 months.

“Nicole was in a really good mood,” says the X17 photographer who spotted her. “She looked absolutely amazing — anyone who didn’t know would never have guessed she had given birth just a week ago. She even looked well-rested!”

Sparrow James Midnight Madden – who weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. – was born on Sept. 9.

While pregnant, Richie admitted she would send beau Joel Madden out at “2 or 3 a.m. to pick up In-N-Out Burger.”

Still no word on how she lost the weight, but she seems to be changing her diet. After giving birth, she Twittered: “Next stop: Sushi!”

As Nicole Richie is really busy in being a mother for the second time, her father is the one giving interviews about his new Granson Sparrow Midnight Madden.

In an interview to ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, the singer showed his love and support for the newborn, aswell for the great friend he had that died last month – the king of POP, Michael Jackson.

“Have you seen Sparrow yet?” Shaun asked.

“I have seen Sparrow, I have spoken to him many times… brought him his football helmet and his baseball mitt, but they told me it is not time yet,” Lionel laughed.

“Who does Sparrow look like?” Shaun asked.

“Actually, I’m going to tell you something, Sparrow looks just like [Nicole’s first child], Harlow did, we were just talking about this last night… They could be twins,” he said.
