Many celebrities are talking about Nicole Richie and Joel Madden engagement, and the latest to show her happiness to the upcoming husband and wife was Kelly Osbourne.

In her weekly UK magazine column she told her story

“I was great to hang out with her in New York, it was the first time I’d seen her in ages and it was really nice to catch up. Then, out of nowhere, Nicole said: Look at my hand! She showed me her engagement ring, which is beautiful and she seemed so happy. She and Joel are a wonderful couple and their kids, Harlow and Sparrow, are the cutest. I’m so happy for the pair of them”.

Extra Extra! Nicole Richie and Joel and officially engaged!

The new came this weekend when the start was present at Late Night show with David Letterman, and was explaining why she goes out at night and leaves her kids at home.

Nicole said she goes out with her female friends as her two babies – Harlow Winter and Sparrow – go to bed at 7pm and during the time she is out, she always has Joel and the nannies to take care of the kids.

By the end of the Interview Nicole also confesses she recently got engaged. Check out the video below:

Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden, her daugther Harlow winter and youngest son Sparrow were seen celebrating the opening of the newest Madden’s playground last Tuesday, February 10th in Los Angeles California.

Despite the uncharacteristically bad weather, the opening was a meaningful accomplishment for Nicole and Joel, who pledged to raise $35,000 to build the playground in September 2008 through their “R-M” Children’s Foundation.

“When we first started coming here, there were no kids outside,” says the socilaite in a interview to a local newspaper . “To see the place come to life and have a place to come outside and be kids, and have their imaginations run wild, it’s really awesome.”

Since there are no Nicole Richie news to report, we are telling this “related” new about the star that may get the fans happy!

Brenda Harvey, the socialite’s mother is pointed as a strong name to be present on the next upcoming of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but what there is more!

It’s said that the show producers wanted to have a sort of “the simple life” taste, so they decided to pick Kim and Kyle Richards (which are part of the Hilton’s family) to join in the show, so they match families like they did with Paris and Nicole!

For those who don’t live in the United States, or simply don’t know the show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is a reality series which airs in the United States on the cable network Bravo, and various other broadcasters internationally. The series follows the lives of upper class housewives and professional women in the suburban or urban areas of several American cities, and the suffix portion of the title takes on the name of that city or suburban region.

Nicole just appeared on new photoshoot Marie Claire Magazine, UK, March Edition.

In the new pictures the start poses with her natural brown hair wearing tight clothes that show how she fully recovered her body looks after giving birth to her second baby just a few months back.

We heart that Richie got really happy with the results from the photo session herself!
